As love experts, we can never avoid the hot topic of sex. For anyone who knows about relationships, the intimate part is an important factor that can make or break your love life. Sex doesn’t just refer to how good or bad you are in the bedroom, it’s more about the kind of connection you’re able to make. So how does a couple up their game in the bedroom? What things are you doing that may be hindering the enjoyment of sex?

Expecting your partner to know

Whether you’re a male or female, there’s no way in the world that one will know what the other likes or prefers in the bedroom, especially since everyone is particularly different when it comes to sex. The number 1 rule in the bedroom? Don’t assume! Before you commit to an intimate relationship, be sure to talk openly and honestly about what you like. When you are in an active sexual relationship, you should no longer feel as though it is a topic of taboo which means, you should feel free to talk about sex.

If you are a woman, don’t expect your man to automatically know what you want or what you like because you’ll end up losing your libido and hating the physical part of your relationship. Men should also do the same and express to your partner what you like in the bedroom – don’t be afraid to ask and suggest different things that you can explore.

Try New Things

This is probably one topic that most people feel shy about but should be freely discussed. If you feel things in the bedroom are lacking, suggest new sexual ideas that you can both explore with each other. This doesn’t mean you have to go out and buy crazy fetish equipment – you can simply change up just little parts such as prolonging foreplay to heighten libido or playing games to be slightly daring. There are a lot of ways you can change things up and ignite the fire, get creative!

Hygiene

This may seem like an obvious thing however it’s a good reminder for both male and females. Keeping your body healthy and hygienic can also change up your sex life. One of the biggest turn-ons for us as human beings is smelling clean and fresh – so before a hot date, shower, shave and moisturise! This goes for the men too!

Don’t Be Afraid to Initiate Sex

It’s been said over and over again that men are more sexual beings than women, however, women are extremely sexual and love sex just as much as men do. If you’re a woman, don’t be afraid to initiate sex! Start with foreplay and seduce your man until he understands your signals. Men, don’t be afraid to let your woman take control sometimes, it’s a great switch up and can be extremely fun for both of you.

When it comes to pillow talk, similar to anything that is related to love, you must be honest and willing to communicate about any issues that are hindering your relationship. Explore new things and take control of your sex life to better your love life.
